I am 70 years of age and during my years I have come into contact with very many medical people. Mr Tsafrakidis stand head and shoulders above them all. I have survived cancer and had 3 major operations. latterly Mr Tsafrakidis has been instrumental in carry out checks to identify if my cancer has returned I have full confidence in him and very pleased to be under his care. He listens carefully, explains in layman terms, and takes action. The only improvement that could be made is to clone Mr Tsafrakidis so double the patients could benefit.

Dr Tsafrakidis was piloting a new procedure in Fife called Urolift which is a prostate treatment. He listened very attentively to my symptoms, spending time to clarify and probe further at certain points. After agreeing that I was a suitable candidate for the procedure he carefully and in very clear language explained what was involved including the possible downsides. On the day of the procedure he went through it again step by step so I knew fully what to expect. During the actual procedure he was very good at talking me through what was about to happen at each stage and he had my complete trust. The operation was successful and my quality of life has been enhanced as a result. Post operation, the follow up procedure was very thorough and provided me with great reassurance. He has excellent inter personal skills which were evident throughout my dealings with him.

An extremely nice Consultant who was able to explain matters in a clear manner that I could understand. He outlined the course of treatment recommended and what the next steps would be. As I also see other consultants, he confirmed that the output from this consultation would be shared with them to ensure consistency of care which is extremely important. He listened to my concerns and was able to put me at ease. I thoroughly recommend Mr Tsafrakidis.
